WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) issued the following statement regarding the elimination of the COVID vaccine mandate in this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA): “Ending the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for U.S. military members is a win for our military and our country,” said Rep. August Pfluger. “Republicans are leading in the fight to restore freedom and accountability, and I will continue to fight to reinstate the service members that were fired for not taking the COVID-19 vaccine. Congressman Pfluger has been a vocal opponent of President Biden’s illegal vaccine mandates, including introducing a Congressional Review Act, filing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court, issuing multiple official statements, and supporting H.R.3860, which prohibits members of the Armed Forces from being required to receive a vaccination against COVID-19. |
