Monday, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released a statement calling for the immediate resignation of Alejandro Mayorkas, President Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security:

Rep. August Pfluger: “Secretary Mayorkas is presiding over the worst border crisis in history and lying about it to Congress. By breaking federal border security laws, he allowed over 2 million illegal immigrants to cross the southern border along with record-numbers of deadly drugs and illicit materials in only one year. His actions are putting the safety of American citizens in jeopardy. Mayorkas must resign.”

Congressman Pfluger cosigned a letter in recent days calling for this immediate action.
