Pfluger: My District Team is Working for You

Following his first week in office, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) is proud to announce that his district offices are open and ready to serve the constituents of the 11th District of Texas. The offices are located in Midland, San Angelo, Llano, Granbury, and Brownwood. The final regional office in Odessa is currently being staffed. Residents of all 29 counties in the 11th Congressional District of Texas can contact their regional office for assistance in dealing with Federal agencies like the IRS, Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, and more. “I could not be more excited to introduce my staff of community leaders and constituent service experts in the district,” said Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11). “We are lucky to be retaining many familiar faces from the offices of former-Representative Mike Conaway, while also bringing on several dynamic new members. Each one of these capable women will work every day to serve the people of the 11th District and make the lives of our friends and neighbors just a little bit easier.” Midland Office Serving Andrews, Ector, Midland, Martin, Dawson, Glasscock, and Mitchell Counties Location: 6 Desta Dr., Suite 2000 Midland, TX, 79705 Phone: 432-687-2390 Hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regional Director: Corbette Padilla Corbette is a Midland native who attended Midland High School and Texas Tech University. She served as the Regional Director in Congressman Mike Conaway’s Midland office for nearly 14 years. Corbette attends St. Ann’s Catholic Church with her husband Richard and young daughter Nicolette. Corbette is an active member of Midland County Republican Women, and sits on the Board of Directors for Hospice of Midland as well as Pink the Basin. Corbette says she is happy to be a part of the Pfluger team and looks forward to continuing to work for the wonderful constituents of District 11. San Angelo Office Serving Tom Green, Concho, Irion, Sterling, Coke, and Runnels Counties Location: 33 East Twohig Ave, Suite 307, San Angelo, TX 76903 Phone: 325-659-4010 Hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regional Director/Service Academy Liaison: Joanne Powell Joanne Powell is a true treasure of the Concho Valley. A legend in the community, Joanne brings priceless expertise and an unmatched ability to help every constituent who calls on her. Joanne and her late husband, Colonel Charlie Powell, first made San Angelo their home in 1980, when Charlie was assigned to be the Wing Commander at Goodfellow Air Force Base. While at Goodfellow, Joanne and Charlie worked tirelessly to keep the base in operation and forge strong bonds between the base and San Angelo community. In total, Joanne has spent over 60 years in public service, with 35 of these dedicated to the 11th District since 1984, when she first went to work for Congressman Tom Loeffler. Since then, she continued serving under Congressman Lamar Smith, and Congressman Mike Conaway. Her pride and joy is serving as the Service Academy Liaison in the Congressional office. Through this position, she has helped countless courageous students from the 11th District obtain nominations and appointments to the United States Service Academies. Joanne has known Congressman Pfluger since he was young, having been lifelong friends with the Congressman’s grandparents, and is thrilled to be working for him. When asked about life in San Angelo, Joanne says she “loves the community, loves the people, and loves working in the best district there is.” Llano Office Serving Llano, Mason, Kimble, Menard, San Saba, and McCulloch Counties Location: County Annex, 104 W. She spent 25 years in Houston as a teacher, where she first developed a heart for serving. She moved to Llano in 2015, where she now lives with her husband Derek. Laura enjoys running a small business on the square with her twin sister and serving on the City Council. Laura says she admires and respects Congressman Pfluger and is ecstatic to get the chance to work for him and the people of the 11th District. What is she most excited about? Solving problems and helping the constituents of District 11. Brownwood Office Serving Brown, Coleman, Mills, Callahan, & Comanche Location: Brownwood City Hall, 501 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801 Phone: 325-646-1950 Hours: M-F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regional Director: Hilary Stegemoller Hilary was born and raised in Brownwood. She attended Abilene Christian University. She has served as the Regional Director for the Brownwood office of Mike Conaway since 2009. She and her husband Josh are the proud parents of three darling children Gus, Fritz, & Goldie. The Stegemollers are active members of Austin Avenue Church of Christ. They stay busy with kids' sports, spending time at Lake Brownwood, fishing, and hunting. Hilary is excited to continue serving her hometown region and the people who make the 11th District of Texas great. Granbury Office Serving Hood, Erath, Palo Pinto, Stephens, and Eastland Counties Location: 132 N. Houston St. Granbury, TX 76048 Phone: 682-936-2577 Hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regional Director: Diane Williams Diane was raised in the Houston area. She received her undergraduate degree from Southwest Texas State University and her master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has spent the last 9 years working in a congressional office—first with Congressman Bill Flores and most recently in the Granbury of Congressman Mike Conaway. Diane is a certified pilot. She learned to fly at the Cleburne, Texas airport, and enjoys flying in her Great Lakes biplane as often as she can. Diane has come to know and love the people of the 11th District of Texas through the years and is eager to begin working for Congressman Pfluger. |
