WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released the following statement after voting in favor of a clean Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the federal government through December 4, 2026:

“Once again, House Republicans are stepping up and responsibly funding the government with a clean Continuing Resolution while we work to finalize conservative full-year appropriations bills. The Senate must act swiftly and get this to the President's desk to avoid another costly and disruptive government shutdown. Democrats have proven they are willing to shut down the government and hold American families, troops, and small businesses hostage to appease their radical base. Republicans are doing what we were sent here to do: govern.”
