Happy Thanksgiving! Today, and every day, Camille and I are extremely grateful for each of you. We pray you enjoy a blessed holiday surrounded by family and friends.
There is truly so much to be thankful for. This year, I am especially grateful for the privilege of representing you in Congress. Fighting to defend our Texas values in Washington is one of the greatest honors of my life.
I am also profoundly thankful for my own family this holiday season and mindful of the brave American service members, military families, law enforcement officers, and first responders who are spending Thanksgiving away from their loved ones in service to our nation. Our prayers, gratitude, and unwavering support are with you. God bless you and your families!
Below are a few recent pictures and updates, plus information on how my office can assist you with any federal concerns. As always, if you need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best,
San Saba Town Hall
It was fantastic to be in San Saba hosting a community town hall. I'm grateful for the opportunity to meet with constituents and answer questions on the latest from Washington.
It was also an honor to recognize the Hill Country Community Action Association (HCCAA) for its dedicated work in aiding the community in the aftermath of the July 4th floods. The incredible men and women at the association offered immediate disaster relief, case management services, and donation coordination, which made all the difference in recovery efforts. They also served as a central hub for available resources and relief organizations.
HCCAA CEO Ashley Johnson and volunteers were present to receive a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. Thank you for all you did and continue to do for the community!
West Texas Counseling and Guidance
I had the opportunity to tour and visit with staff at West Texas Counseling and Guidance (WTCG), located in San Angelo. WTCG is working to ensure that individuals and families seeking mental health treatment have access to services, regardless of their socioeconomic status. We are thankful for organizations like WTCG for providing critical services to those in our communities.
