GARDEN CITY, TX—Today, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) hosted a community town hall in Garden City to share updates on his work in Washington, discuss the Democrat-led government shutdown, and take questions from those in attendance.
During the event, Congressman Pfluger also recognized the Glasscock County 4-H Livestock Judging Team for their 9th-place finish at nationals. The team included Levi Easterling, Brylon Frerich, Miles Halfmann, and Tatum Braden. Erica Batla and Carylon Frerich accepted the Congressional Certificate on behalf of the team.
“Hosting town halls across Texas-11 will always be a priority of mine to better serve the amazing individuals who call this place home,” said Congressman August Pfluger. “Even with the Democrat government shutdown, I will continue serving and engaging with my constituents. Town halls serve as an excellent opportunity for me to provide firsthand updates and to hear your ideas, concerns, and feedback. Texas-11 is the best place to live and raise a family, and I am committed to protecting our values and way of life in Congress. If you are ever in need of assistance, especially as the government shutdown continues, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office.”
