SAN ANGELO, TX—Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) hosted the 21st Annual West Texas Legislative Summit (WTLS) in San Angelo, alongside the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, Texas Senator Charles Perry, and Texas State Representative Drew Darby. The WTLS is an incredible event that brings together hundreds of elected officials and business professionals for a full day of discussions on major issues impacting West Texas.

This year's Summit focused on how West Texas is driving American strength from the ground up. Topics included border security, the One Big Beautiful Bill, energy, agriculture, rural healthcare, and the crossroad of space and connectivity. There was a powerhouse lineup of speakers. During the Summit, Rep. Pfluger delivered opening remarks and participated in three fireside discussions: one with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Staff Director, Griffin Decker, and Executive Assistant Commissioner at Customs and Border Patrol, Jonathan Miller; another with House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19); and a final one with General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
